San Francisco 49ers News & Updates

Deebo Samuel of the San Francisco 49ers is anticipated to play against the New England Patriots on Sunday, even though he missed the previous game due to a calf injury.

Samuel experienced a limited practice week and is currently marked as questionable for the game against the Patriots.

On Friday, Samuel mentioned that he's feeling good, adding that they will see how things go.

He sustained the injury during the Week 2 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Initially, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan suggested Samuel would be out for a couple of weeks. However, Shanahan is satisfied with Samuel's progress this week.

The 49ers will also see the return of tight end George Kittle, although left tackle Trent Williams remains questionable due to a sore toe.
