San Francisco 49ers News & Updates

After defeating the Patriots, the San Francisco 49ers have a lengthy injury list, with star linebacker Fred Warner dealing with an ankle issue.

Coach Kyle Shanahan has reassured that none of the injuries, including Warner's, are considered severe enough to sideline players for an extended period. Warner, who missed the second half of Sunday's game due to his ankle injury, will be monitored day-to-day this week.

Further examination on Monday alleviated concerns about Warner's ankle. He mentioned that he did not think the injury was serious, expressing his willingness to play if he had been able to.

Besides Warner, other players listed as day-to-day include Kyle Juszczyk, George Kittle, Jordan Elliott, Jacob Cowing, and Chris Conley.

The team may also benefit from the return of players from injured reserve, with Ricky Pearsall and Kalia Davis eligible to resume practice and potentially be activated this week.

Meanwhile, Christian McCaffrey is dealing with tendonitis in both Achilles but is set to increase his rehabilitation efforts this week.
