Indianapolis Colts News & Updates

Coach Shane Steichen of the Colts has stated that Anthony Richardson will continue as the starting quarterback once he is back from his injury, even though Joe Flacco delivered a standout performance in the team's recent game against the Jaguars.

Richardson was sidelined due to an oblique injury he suffered in the fourth week. During the game, Flacco threw 33 completions for 359 yards and three touchdowns, with a significant portion of his performance occurring in the final quarter.

Although Flacco's performance was noteworthy, the Colts are steadfast in their support for Richardson. They are eager to evaluate his potential, especially considering he was their fourth overall pick in the 2023 draft.

While Richardson has faced challenges with turnovers this season, he is among the top in the league for yards and air yards per attempt. Looking ahead, he is hopeful about being in the starting lineup in Week 6 against the Titans.
