Miami Dolphins News & Updates

Anthony Richardson, who plays as the quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts, is set to make a comeback to the starting lineup this Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. He will have a strong lineup of healthy receivers to aim for, including Michael Pittman Jr., Josh Downs, and Alec Pierce, all of whom are expected to participate in the game despite being listed as questionable.

Alec Pierce leads the team's receiving stats with 368 yards and three touchdowns. Meanwhile, Pittman and Downs have jointly amassed 512 yards and four touchdowns.

Richardson has been sidelined for the last two matches because of an oblique injury, during which time Joe Flacco, a seasoned player, took the starting role against both the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tennessee Titans.

Colts head coach Shane Steichen chose to keep Richardson out of the matchup with Tennessee due to his incomplete recovery. Nonetheless, Richardson has now been active in all practice sessions throughout the week, taking on all the starter's duties.

Steichen has commended Richardson for his excellent performance during practice, highlighting his accurate throws, effective pocket control, and agility. Given that Richardson has missed 15 out of 21 regular-season games since being picked fourth overall in the 2023 draft, he is focused on maintaining consistency.
