Anthony Richardson's Future with the Colts: Indianapolis Stands Firm Despite Trade Inquiries

Even though other teams showed interest, the Colts were firm in their choice not to trade Anthony Richardson, who is in his second year as quarterback.

There were concerns about Richardson's future after he was recently benched, but Colts coach Shane Steichen reaffirmed his dedication to Richardson as the starting quarterback in the time ahead.

After a lackluster offensive showing in their defeat by Minnesota, Steichen stated that Joe Flacco would continue as the starter for the next match against the Buffalo Bills.

Although Richardson has faced challenges this season, interest from other teams has not waned, with ongoing speculation about his possible availability. Nevertheless, the Colts continue to regard Richardson as their future quarterback.

Within the team, there is a strong belief that they have not lost faith in Richardson and are hopeful about reinstating him as the starting quarterback.

Additionally, the Colts announced placing center Ryan Kelly on injured reserve and the acquisition of safety Darren Hall from the Arizona Cardinals.
