Arizona Cardinals News & Updates

The Arizona Cardinals have strengthened their pass-rush capabilities by acquiring Baron Browning from the Denver Broncos.

The Cardinals have traded a 2025 sixth-round draft pick to the Broncos to secure Browning, who has recorded seven tackles this season but has yet to achieve a sack.

This acquisition helps address the Cardinals' need for additional pass-rushing talent, as BJ Ojulari and Dennis Gardeck are sidelined due to season-ending ACL injuries.

With a total of 21 sacks so far this season, the Cardinals are projected to reach 39, which is a modest increase compared to last year's figure of 33.

In Denver, Browning's position on the depth chart had dropped, as he was surpassed by rookie Jonah Elliss and veteran sack leaders Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper.

Selected in the third round from Ohio State, Browning will enter the market as an unrestricted free agent next March.
