Atlanta to Host Super Bowl 62 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in 2028, Making It the City's Fourth Time Hosting the NFL Championship Game

In 2028, Atlanta will once again be the host city for the NFL Super Bowl, with the event taking place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

This will mark Atlanta's fourth Super Bowl event, and the second time it will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where the New England Patriots previously triumphed over the Los Angeles Rams in 2019.

Arthur M. Blank, owner of the Falcons, expressed his appreciation for the trust shown in Atlanta and praised the capabilities of Mercedes-Benz Stadium in accommodating major sporting events.

Before the Atlanta event in 2028, the Super Bowl is scheduled to be played in New Orleans, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Los Angeles.

Commissioner of the NFL, Roger Goodell, commended Atlanta for its welcoming environment and dynamic sports culture, also highlighting Arthur Blank's vital contributions to the local community.
