The Chicago Bulls secured a 113-103 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, regaining their home court edge in the NBA Finals. Leading the Bulls, DeMar DeRozan scored a game-high of 31 points. Zach LaVine also contributed 26 points, complemented by Nikola Vucevic adding 17 points.
LeBron James led the Lakers with 28 points, with Anthony Davis adding 23 and Russell Westbrook contributing 17. The Lakers struggled with their shooting, managing to convert only 40% of their attempts.
The Bulls set the pace from the outset, maintaining a double-digit lead for most of the first half. Although the Lakers made a comeback in the third quarter, they couldn't keep the momentum going.
In the final moments, DeRozan's critical shots were key for the Bulls, as he scored the team's last seven points to secure the win.
The series will now move back to Los Angeles, with Game 3 scheduled for Wednesday.
