Friday, November 8th, 2024

Chicago Bears News & Updates

The Chicago Bears will be without both starting offensive tackles when they face the New England Patriots due to knee injuries affecting Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright.

The team's third option at tackle, Kiran Amegadjie, is also sidelined with a calf injury. Larry Borom is expected to step in at one of the tackle spots, but the team has not confirmed specific assignments yet.

Ryan Bates, who has been out for the past seven games because of a shoulder injury, might return to play as a guard or center if given medical clearance.

Returning to the lineup after being absent from the Arizona game, defensive end Montez Sweat and cornerback Kyler Gordon will play again, having recovered from shin and hamstring injuries, respectively.
