Cincinnati Bengals News & Updates

Coach Zac Taylor announced that Cincinnati Bengals running back Zack Moss is out indefinitely due to a neck injury. Moss missed the team's win against the Las Vegas Raiders after a potential neck issue was identified on Thursday night.

Taylor did not specify when Moss might return but hopes for updates later in the week.

Moss signed a two-year deal worth $8 million during the offseason, which led to the departure of former starter Joe Mixon to the Houston Texans. Moss has shared field duties with Chase Brown, recording 74 carries for 242 yards and two touchdowns, as well as 23 receptions for 187 yards and a touchdown over eight games.

With Moss unavailable, Brown took on the majority of the workload against the Raiders, setting career records with 27 carries and 120 rushing yards. He accumulated 157 yards from scrimmage and scored a receiving touchdown.

Brown experienced a bruised rib during the game, but it's not expected to greatly affect his availability for Thursday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. The Bengals have two other healthy running backs on their roster: experienced player Trayveon Williams and rookie Kendall Milton.

Taylor mentioned that the team is considering signing another running back.

Additionally, Cincinnati suffered the loss of tight end Erick All Jr. for the season due to a torn ACL in his right knee. All played an important role in the offense with 20 catches for 158 yards and was also crucial in the running game.
