Cincinnati Bengals News & Updates

The Cincinnati Bengals received encouraging updates about the injuries of Geno Stone and Orlando Brown Jr.

Stone has a shin bruise, and Brown is dealing with a calf injury. Neither injury is thought to be serious, even though both players had to exit Sunday's game against the Browns.

There was initial concern about Stone's condition after he was carted off, but he later left the locker room on his own. X-rays showed no serious damage.

Brown assured observers that his injury wasn't major and remained on the sidelines in uniform for the rest of the match. Coach Zac Taylor mentioned that Brown's condition will be monitored daily.

Before their injuries, both Stone and Brown performed remarkably. Stone secured his first interception for the Bengals, and Brown topped the NFL in pass block win rate.

If Brown can't participate in Sunday's game against the Eagles, Cody Ford is set to take on the role of left tackle.

The Bengals are aiming to even their record after beginning the season with three wins and four losses.
