Buffalo's performance concerns after a break were immediately put to rest when their opening drive culminated in a touchdown by James Cook. Josh Allen's four touchdown passes propelled Buffalo to a commanding 47-10 victory over Jacksonville.
Allen showcased a stellar performance, completing 23 out of 30 passes for a total of 263 yards, and distributing touchdowns among Dalton Kincaid, Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir, and Ty Johnson. Safety Damar Hamlin also made a notable contribution with an interception.
Jacksonville struggled significantly, accumulating only 70 yards and five first downs in the first half. Trevor Lawrence, who voiced his frustrations in the previous week, ended with 178 yards, an interception, and extended his losing streak to eight consecutive starts.
The Bills remain undefeated with a 3-0 record, while Jacksonville's misfortunes continue with an 0-3 start. Additionally, Jacksonville's flight was delayed due to mechanical issues when departing Buffalo.
On the injury front, Jacksonville lost CB Jarrian Jones (left shoulder), LB Foyesade Oluokun (foot), and RT Anton Harrison (knee). Buffalo's DB Cam Lewis returned to play after undergoing a head injury evaluation.
Looking ahead, Jacksonville will visit Houston on Sunday. Buffalo is set to travel to Baltimore for a Sunday night game, marking the beginning of a three-game road trip.
