Broncos' Bo Nix Shines in Victory Over Bryce Young's Carolina Panthers

Bo Nix showcased an impressive performance with three touchdown passes and a rushing touchdown, while Denver's unyielding defense against Bryce Young secured a 28-14 win for the Broncos over the injury-depleted Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

Nix accumulated 284 passing yards, connecting with Nate Adkins and Adam Trautman for touchdowns in the second quarter, establishing a 21-7 advantage for the Broncos by halftime.

The Panthers' offense faltered under Young's leadership, compounded by a lengthy injury report of 22 players and the loss of two more during the match. Young's two interceptions underscored Denver's defensive strength.

A failed fake punt attempt by Sam Franklin Jr. set up an additional Broncos touchdown, pushing their lead to 28-7. Patrick Surtain II then intercepted Young at Denver's 11-yard line.

Courtland Sutton achieved a 100-yard receiving game but made a crucial fumble at the 1-yard line, while Young managed a late touchdown pass to Jalen Coker, offering some solace for the Panthers.

Despite initiating the game with a touchdown, the Panthers' attack struggled with Young directing, as Denver's defense limited them to just one first down in the first half.

Nik Bonitto and Ja'Quan McMillian made key contributions with sacks and interceptions, maintaining the Broncos' streak of games with a sack at six and intercepting Young in the fourth quarter.

The Panthers' injury troubles persisted with Feleipe Franks suffering a concussion and D.J. Johnson sustaining an ankle sprain, while the Broncos' Lucas Kroll exited the game briefly due to a shoulder injury.

Next Sunday, the Panthers are set to host the New Orleans Saints, whereas the Broncos will head to Baltimore to face the Ravens.
