Josh Reynolds, a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, has recently undergone surgery on his finger. As a result, he might be sidelined for several weeks, say sources. The injury occurred during the team's win against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
Although Coach Sean Payton has yet to confirm the surgery or Reynolds' potential time away from the field, sources suggest he could miss a number of upcoming games. This week, Reynolds did not take part in practice sessions.
Having signed a two-year contract with the Broncos during the offseason, Reynolds holds the position of the team's second highest receiver. Notably, he has made the only two catches exceeding 30 yards this season.
With Reynolds unavailable, players Marvin Mims Jr., Troy Franklin, and Devaughn Vele are anticipated to have more playing opportunities. Earlier, Vele recorded eight catches in the season's first game, but he later sustained a rib injury.
The report of Reynolds' surgery was initially published by Houston's KPRC2.
