Denver Broncos News & Updates

The Denver Broncos coach, Sean Payton, has expressed his concern for wide receiver Josh Reynolds after he was shot in Denver the previous week. Payton assured that the Broncos would provide all the necessary support for Reynolds during his recovery process.

According to Payton, Reynolds was involved in a major incident recently and is lucky to be alive. He was shot twice but received treatment at the hospital and was discharged with injuries that were not life-threatening.

This week, Reynolds attended team activities but did not travel with the team to New Orleans for their game against the Saints.

Payton reiterated that the Broncos are well-equipped with resources to assist Reynolds, including offering counseling services.

The police reported that Reynolds, along with two others, was trailed from a strip club located in Glendale, Colorado. During the incident, shots were fired, and both Reynolds and one of the men left an SUV that was left inoperative on Interstate 25.

The authorities have arrested two individuals, Burr Charlesworth and Luis Mendoza, in relation to the shooting. They are being held on charges of attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault.

Reynolds signed a contract with the Broncos in April for two years worth $9 million. Due to a finger fracture sustained in Week 5, he has been out of action. Throughout the season, he has achieved 12 receptions for 183 yards, scoring one touchdown.
