Cleveland Browns News & Updates

The Cleveland Browns faced a 20-16 defeat against the Philadelphia Eagles, marking another challenging game for their offense. Head coach Kevin Stefanski remains supportive of starting quarterback Deshaun Watson, despite these struggles.

Stefanski highlighted Watson as the best option to guide the team toward victory, stressing the importance of solid contributions from all offensive positions.

This latest loss extends the Browns' losing streak to four games. They have become the first team since the 2014 Jacksonville Jaguars to score under 20 points in each of their first six games. Furthermore, they have yet to achieve 300 total yards in any match this season.

Despite having the lowest QBR among eligible quarterbacks at 21.5, Watson retains Stefanski's confidence in his role as a starter.

Stefanski made clear that the choice to start Watson is solely his, free from any influence from team ownership. He mentioned maintaining a strong communication line with general manager Andrew Berry and the owners, who have backed his decisions regarding the team.
