Deshaun Watson ran for a touchdown, and Dustin Hopkins made three field goals to help the Browns secure an 18-13 victory over the Jaguars on Sunday.
Controlling the wet conditions, the Browns were dominant by sacking Trevor Lawrence four times and keeping Jacksonville under control for almost three quarters. The Jaguars attempted a late comeback, but a dropped punt and a sack in the end zone thwarted their efforts.
Lawrence faced difficulties throughout the game, displaying his frustration by arguing with coach Doug Pederson. The Browns' tight defense subdued him, leading to Jacksonville's seventh loss in their last eight games.
Watson completed 22 passes for 186 yards, with Jerry Jeudy emerging as his primary receiver. Jerome Ford contributed 64 rushing yards for Cleveland.
Moving Up
Jacksonville's Travis Etienne surpassed Mark Brunell for fifth place on the team's career rushing list, achieving this milestone in just 36 games.
Key Injuries
