Cleveland Browns News & Updates

The head coach of the Cleveland Browns, Kevin Stefanski, has hinted at the possibility of changing who calls the offensive plays following a third straight loss, a shift from his earlier stance against such changes.

Stefanski mentioned that he is reviewing how the offense operates and considering seeking input from offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey regarding playcalling duties.

During a 34-13 loss to the Washington Commanders, the Browns struggled to reach 20 points for the fifth game in a row, a stretch that represents their longest such streak since the team returned to Cleveland in 1999.

Despite quarterback Deshaun Watson's subpar QBR, Stefanski expressed his continued support for Watson remaining the starting quarterback, highlighting the need for the entire team to work together toward improvement.

Stefanski also clarified that keeping Watson as the starter was ultimately his decision, though he consulted with General Manager Andrew Berry in making that choice.
