The Los Angeles Lakers ended a three-game losing streak by defeating the Houston Rockets 130-118 on Monday night. Leading the Lakers was LeBron James with 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Anthony Davis contributed 21 points and 12 rebounds.
The Lakers dominated the game in the second half, outscoring their opponents 67-54. James and Davis together scored 36 points in the third quarter, establishing a significant lead for the Lakers as they entered the fourth quarter.
Despite James Harden's team-leading 30 points for the Rockets, it wasn't enough to halt their third consecutive loss. Russell Westbrook also scored 25 points, but the Rockets struggled with three-point shots, making only 25% of them.
With this victory, the Lakers' record improved to 24-24, while the Rockets dropped to 13-35.
