Carolina Panthers News & Updates

Bryce Young guided the Carolina Panthers to a narrow 23-22 triumph over the New Orleans Saints. This victory was his first as a leader in his 20 NFL starts.

Young passed for 171 yards, securing a touchdown. At the same time, rookie Chuba Hubbard contributed with 72 rushing yards and two touchdowns, including the decisive score late in the fourth quarter.

Even with this win, coach Dave Canales was not ready to announce Young as the starting quarterback for the upcoming game against the New York Giants.

The Panthersā€™ defense played a crucial role during the Saints' final drive. Jadeveon Clowney sacked Saints quarterback Derek Carr on second down, and Dane Jackson disrupted Carr's fourth-down pass, securing the win.

Alvin Kamara led the Saints with 155 rushing yards on 29 attempts, though the team has now suffered seven consecutive losses.

Chris Olave exited the game in the first quarter with a concussion, and Lucas Patrick injured his calf in the second half for the Saints.

For the Panthers, Legette returned from a hand injury to complete the game.

Looking ahead, the Saints will play at home against the Falcons next week, while the Panthers are set to travel to Munich to face the Giants.
