Buffalo Bills Injury Report: Amari Cooper, Christian Benford Out for Dolphins Matchup

Buffalo Bills News & Updates

The Buffalo Bills will face the Miami Dolphins on Sunday without their wide receiver Amari Cooper. Cooper, who was acquired through a trade from the Cleveland Browns, injured his wrist in the game against the Seattle Seahawks last week. Since then, he has been practicing with restrictions and has been seen with a wrap on his left hand.

Coach Sean McDermott mentioned that Cooper's availability is uncertain as they continue to monitor his recovery. This will mark the first game Cooper will miss since joining the Bills.

Alongside Cooper, the Bills will also be missing their starting cornerback Christian Benford due to a wrist injury. To fill in for Benford, Kaiir Elam, who was drafted in the first round in 2022, is expected to take his place.

On a positive note, wide receiver Curtis Samuel will be available for the game. Samuel was previously uncertain to play due to a pectoral injury, causing him to miss the previous week's match. Additionally, wide receiver Jalen Virgil has been promoted from the practice squad.
