Chicago Bears News & Updates

Shortly after the ball was snapped in the second quarter, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams found himself with a perfect chance.

He cleverly maneuvered the Panthers' secondary, opening up space for DJ Moore, who dashed towards the end zone.

Williams' throw resulted in a 30-yard touchdown for Moore, giving the Bears a 20-point lead at the break.

Williams completed 20 out of 29 passes, amassing 309 yards and achieving 2 touchdowns, while Moore made five receptions for 105 yards and also secured two touchdowns.

The Bears' offense exceeded 400 yards for the first time this season, with Williams showcasing enhanced accuracy on long passes, completing all four attempts that traveled at least 15 yards in the air.

Although he had a slow start to the season, Williams has shown progress, particularly in handling the blitz during victories over both the Rams and Panthers.

He has incorporated various players into the offense, distributing passes to Moore, Rome Odunze, Keenan Allen, and Cole Kmet.

The bond between Williams and Moore has been a priority, which has helped Williams advance in his development.

Kmet has commended Williams for his rapid learning and control over the offense, which has been growing stronger every week.
