Chiefs Defeat Bengals in AFC Showdown for Supremacy

Brian Roberts achieved a new personal milestone with four hits, which helped lead the Orioles to a 7-2 win over the White Sox. In this game, Roberts managed four hits in five at-bats, including a home run, two doubles, two RBIs, and two runs scored.

Baltimore opened the scoring with two runs in the first inning, courtesy of a two-out double by Luke Scott. The White Sox managed to even the score with one run each in the second and third innings.

The Orioles regained the lead permanently in the fifth inning. Roberts and Luke Scott hit consecutive doubles, securing a 3-2 advantage for Baltimore, with Nick Markakis driving in another run to increase the lead to 4-2.

In the eighth inning, Roberts hit a home run off reliever Matt Thornton, further extending the lead. Baltimore added two additional runs in the ninth inning with a single from Chris Davis and a double by Robert Andino.

For Baltimore, Miguel Gonzalez secured his 10th win of the season by allowing only two runs on four hits over six innings. Chris Sale, pitching for Chicago, took the loss after giving up four runs on six hits across five innings.
