In a thrilling matchup, Detroit secured a win over Utah with a final scoreline of 111-101.
Jerami Grant spearheaded Detroit's offense, scoring 24 points. He was supported by Saddiq Bey, who contributed 20 points, and Isaiah Stewart, who added 16 points along with grabbing 13 rebounds. Detroit's defense successfully limited Donovan Mitchell, Utah's leading scorer, to just 12 points.
Utah faced challenges in their offensive play throughout the game. Among their players, only Rudy Gobert managed to score in double digits with 15 points. The Jazz also found themselves struggling under the boards, being outrebounded 52 to 35, and had a disappointing 24% success rate from beyond the arc.
