The Arizona Cardinals secured a victory over the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 31-17. This win brought an end to the 49ers' streak of five consecutive wins.
Quarterback Kyler Murray guided the Cardinals with 230 passing yards and two touchdowns, while running back James Conner added to the success with 96 rushing yards and a touchdown.
The 49ers played without their main quarterback Trey Lance due to an injury in the first quarter. Brock Purdy, the backup, stepped in and threw for 220 yards but also had two interceptions.
The Cardinals started the game strong and took the initial lead. However, the 49ers narrowed the gap in the second quarter when Deebo Samuel, their wide receiver, secured a touchdown. Just before halftime, the Cardinals kicked a field goal, finishing the half with a 17-10 lead.
During the second half, the Cardinals expanded their lead by scoring two more touchdowns, one each from Murray and Conner. The 49ers managed another touchdown but failed to bridge the difference.
As a result of this game, the Cardinals' record improved to 4-6 while the 49ers' record shifted to 5-5.
