The Boston Bruins secured a closely contested 3-2 win against the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night, bolstering their chances for a playoff berth.

With just under three minutes left in the third period, Brad Marchand scored the decisive goal, with an assist from Patrice Bergeron. Earlier contributions came from David Pastrnak and Charlie McAvoy, who also put the puck in the net for the Bruins.

Despite the efforts from the Wild, including goals scored by Kirill Kaprizov and Jordan Greenway, they could not withstand the Bruins' late offensive push.

Jeremy Swayman, the goaltender for Boston, delivered a solid performance by saving 25 out of 27 shots. Minnesota's netminder, Marc-Andre Fleury, managed 21 saves.

This victory is crucial for the Bruins as they strive to secure a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Currently, they are tied for the last Wild Card position with 69 points and have two more games left in their schedule.
