Jacksonville Jaguars News & Updates

Sources within the league have reported that Jacksonville Jaguars' wide receiver Christian Kirk is likely to be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to a broken collarbone.

The injury occurred during the Jaguars' defeat against the Green Bay Packers when Kirk fell on his left shoulder after attempting a catch in the fourth quarter. He exited the field holding his injured arm and was later observed wearing a sling.

Throughout this season, Kirk has made 27 receptions, accumulating 379 yards and scoring one touchdown, with an average of 14 yards per catch, marking a personal career-high. Back in March 2022, he secured a four-year contract with the Jaguars worth $72 million.

This marks the second year in a row that Kirk's season has been cut short due to injury. In 2023, he was absent from the final five games owing to a groin issue.

During his tenure of over two seasons with the Jaguars, Kirk has caught 168 passes, gathering 2,274 yards and 12 touchdowns. His standout performance includes 84 catches for 1,108 yards and eight touchdowns in 2022.
