Indianapolis Colts News & Updates

Jonathan Taylor and Anthony Richardson guided the Indianapolis Colts to a 21-16 win over the Chicago Bears, marking the Colts' first triumph of the season.

Taylor ran for 110 yards and scored two touchdowns, while Richardson assisted Trey Sermon in scoring another touchdown for the Colts.

The Colts' defense, often criticized, delivered a robust performance by limiting Chicago to just 63 rushing yards and forcing three turnovers.

Caleb Williams, despite being the top overall draft pick, had a challenging game for the Bears, throwing two interceptions and fumbling to set up Taylor's decisive touchdown.

The match was closely fought, with both teams committing a total of five turnovers and managing only 71 yards combined in the first quarter.

In a significant moment, Bears receiver DJ Moore was brought down at the 1-yard line by Colts defenders Julian Blackmon and E.J. Speed, ensuring the Colts maintained their 7-0 edge by halftime.

Injuries affected both sides, with the Colts losing Kenny Moore II and Kwity Paye, while the Bears saw Nate Davis and Keenan Allen go down, with Braxton Jones briefly exiting and Terell Smith not returning.

Next Sunday, the Bears will play against the Los Angeles Rams at home, whereas the Colts will remain in Indianapolis to face the Pittsburgh Steelers.
