Concerns Arise Over Ravens QB Lamar Jackson's Back and Knee Injuries Before Broncos Game

Baltimore Ravens News & Updates

On Wednesday, Baltimore Ravens' quarterback Lamar Jackson did not participate in practice. Coach John Harbaugh mentioned that Jackson was given a rest day. However, the injury report later indicated that Jackson had some issues with his back and knee.

Harbaugh explained that although Jackson has been performing excellently, it's important to manage the season, especially with an important game coming up.

The Ravens, who have a record of 5-3, are set to play against the Denver Broncos, also 5-3, this Sunday. Jackson has not missed a game because of injury since 2022.

Jackson's injury status came just three days after he was on the field for all 68 offensive snaps during the loss to the Cleveland Browns. He nearly guided the Ravens to a win, but his three incomplete passes in the final moments of the game resulted in their defeat.

Despite this recent challenge, Jackson is still in the running for another MVP award, leading the league's top-ranked offense. He is currently fifth in passing yards with 2,099 and 14th in rushing yards with 501.
