Concerns Over Chris Olave's Concussion: Assessing the Saints Receiver's Long-Term Options

The New Orleans Saints are contemplating placing wide receiver Chris Olave on injured reserve following his second concussion of the season.
Olave experienced the concussion during the game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. After being transported to the hospital via ambulance, he was released in time to travel back home with the team.
This is the fourth confirmed concussion for Olave in his NFL career. He encountered two concussions in the 2022 season and missed a game earlier this season after sustaining a concussion for the first time in 2023.
Olave's family is considering all potential options and is taking a cautious approach to his recovery.
In other injury updates, running back Jamaal Williams will be unavailable for the game against the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday due to a groin injury.
Center Erik McCoy, linebacker Nephi Sewell, and safety Will Harris are anticipated to make their return for the Saints this week.
