Dallas Cowboys News & Updates

The owner of the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones, encountered intense questioning during his regular radio show regarding the team's 3-3 record and their lack of bold moves during the off-season.

Jones warned that he might replace the hosts Bobby Belt, R.J. Choppy, and Shan Shariff if they continued to challenge his decisions.

Following the worst home defeat during his ownership, Jones stood by the team's roster, highlighting recent significant contracts with Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb.

He acknowledged that there are injuries on the defensive side, but emphasized that every team deals with such issues and should have adequate depth to handle them.

Jones dismissed the possibility of making coaching changes during the season, noting his regret over firing Wade Phillips back in 2010.

Despite the challenges faced by the team, Jones remains hopeful about their chances of reaching the Super Bowl.

Currently, the Cowboys rank 25th in defense and 30th in terms of points allowed per game. Their offense averages 21 points per game and has committed 11 turnovers, which is the second-highest in the league.
