Cowboys' Prescott Inks Huge Deal, Leads Team to Season-Opening Win Over Watson and Browns

Cleveland Browns News & Updates

Dak Prescott’s historic contract has raised expectations among his Cowboys teammates, who humorously ask for Rolexes.

In their season opener, Prescott steered the team to a 33-17 win against the Browns, throwing a touchdown pass and assisting the defense in putting pressure on Deshaun Watson.

Watson’s performance after returning from injury was subpar, marked by overthrows and getting sacked. The Browns' offense appeared ineffective under his command.

Brandon Aubrey tried to equal a record with a 66-yard field goal but was flagged for delay of game. Aubrey had previously kicked a successful 66-yarder during the preseason.

Surprising fans, Browns' star Myles Garrett made an appearance at a tailgate before the game, leading cheers with Donovan Mitchell.

Injuries were sustained by both teams during the game; Cowboys' tight end Jake Ferguson injured his left knee, while Browns' tight end David Njoku exited with an ankle injury.

Next Sunday, the Cowboys are set to host the Saints, and the Browns will be heading to Jacksonville.
