Dallas Cowboys News & Updates

The Dallas Cowboys faced a challenge in their match against the Pittsburgh Steelers as they lost defensive end Marshawn Kneeland to a right knee injury.

During the Cowboys' fourth defensive play, Kneeland got injured while tackling quarterback Justin Fields. He was taken to the medical tent for examination and was subsequently taken out of the game.

Due to this injury, the Cowboys had to bring in Tyrus Wheat to replace Kneeland. Previously, Kneeland and Chauncey Golston had been filling in for Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence, who were also dealing with injuries.

Parsons is currently sidelined with a high left ankle sprain, whereas Lawrence is on injured reserve with a Lisfranc injury. The Cowboys' defensive end position has been further impacted by other injuries, including Sam Williams' season-ending ACL tear.
