The Dallas Cowboys are set to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers without key players Micah Parsons, DeMarcus Lawrence, and Brandin Cooks because of injuries.

Dak Prescott has rejected the idea that he should increase his efforts due to their absence, instead stating his dedication to performing at his highest level.

DeMarcus Lawrence will be sidelined for eight weeks, while Micah Parsons is dealing with a high ankle sprain, and Brandin Cooks is facing a knee infection.

It's possible that Parsons and Cooks might also sit out the next match against the Detroit Lions, with the Cowboys having their bye week on October 20.

Prescott has confidence that the team can depend on rookie players and a unified defensive effort to compensate for the absence of Parsons and Lawrence.

Jalen Tolbert is set to step in for Cooks, playing alongside CeeDee Lamb in the receiving lineup.
