New York Jets News & Updates

Davante Adams, who was traded from Las Vegas, is expected to make his debut for the New York Jets in Sunday's game against Pittsburgh.

Jeff Ulbrich, the interim coach of the Jets, has confirmed that Adams participated in the team's walk-through. He anticipates Adams will play against the Steelers, although integrating Adams quickly could be challenging for the offensive staff.

Having previously missed the Raiders' past three games due to a hamstring injury, Adams is eager to play. He is particularly excited about reuniting with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, one of the noteworthy pairings in NFL history.

Coach Ulbrich praised Adams' character and believes his presence will benefit the team both on the field and in the locker room. Statistically, Adams has achieved five seasons with over 1,000 receiving yards in six years.

The Jets' wide receiver lineup now features Garrett Wilson, Allen Lazard, Mike Williams, Xavier Gipson, Irvin Charles, and Malachi Corley. Offensive coordinator Downing is planning how to allocate roles to everyone while incorporating Adams into the offensive strategy.

Although Mike Williams has been forming a good connection with Rodgers, Adams' inclusion in the team may affect Williams' role.

Regarding injuries, quarterback Aaron Rodgers did not participate in Wednesday's walk-through, resting his injured ankle, but he is expected to practice on Thursday and play on Sunday. Cornerbacks D.J. Reed and Michael Carter II might miss the game due to their respective injuries.
