New York Giants News & Updates

The New York Giants are set to start Deonte Banks at cornerback on Sunday in their game against the Washington Commanders. This decision follows his benching during Monday night's defeat.

Selected in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, Banks has faced challenges with both effort and performance throughout this season. He was previously taken out of play for inadequate performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The team's coach, Brian Daboll, has confirmed that Daniel Jones will continue as the starting quarterback for the upcoming game against the Commanders.

Even though Jones was benched after their loss to the Eagles, he displayed some solid decision-making and executed checks during the Steelers game, despite making a few critical errors.
