Derek Carr, seeking to enhance his performance in his second season with the New Orleans Saints, has doubled down on plays during practice, leading to early success.

Alvin Kamara delivered four touchdowns, including a 57-yard screen pass, as the Saints triumphed over the Dallas Cowboys 44-19. Carr contributed by passing for 243 yards and two touchdowns and added a 1-yard rushing touchdown. The Saints impressively scored touchdowns on their first six drives, showcasing a potent offensive start to the season.

Motivated by his past playoff setbacks with the Raiders, Carr has committed to significant improvement this year, and the Saints' strong start reflects his dedication.

The Cowboys, who previously boasted a 16-game regular-season home winning streak, faced their second straight defeat at AT&T Stadium. After restricting Cleveland to just 54 yards in the first half last week, the Cowboys allowed two touchdown passes exceeding 70 yards to the Saints before halftime.

Offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak's debut as the Saints' play-caller proved successful, as the team netted four field goals and dominated Dallas' defense. The Saints amassed 432 yards and scored over 40 points in back-to-back games for the first time since 2018.

The Cowboys struggled to keep pace, with Dak Prescott throwing two interceptions. A misstep by Jalen Brooks enabled Paulson Adebo to return an interception 47 yards for a touchdown, pushing the Saints' lead to 35-13.
