In their victory over the Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions defensive end Marcus Davenport suffered a season-ending torn triceps injury.

Coach Dan Campbell revealed the severity of Davenport's injury and mentioned that the veteran player is looking for further medical opinions.

In the same game, linebacker Derrick Barnes sustained a knee injury that will sideline him for an extended period.

Sam LaPorta, dealing with an ankle issue, and Brian Branch, recovering from a concussion, are both listed as day-to-day.

Brian Branch has entered the concussion protocol but is making good progress.

Davenport, with a history of injuries, has played in only 63 games over five seasons with the Saints and appeared in four games last season with the Vikings.
