In a 28-23 win for the Philadelphia Eagles against the Jacksonville Jaguars, A.J. Brown, a wide receiver, experienced a knee injury and was unable to participate in the second half after making just two catches totaling 36 yards.
After the game, Coach Nick Sirianni did not offer any updates on the condition of Brown.
DeVonta Smith, another wide receiver, recognized the significance of Brown being unavailable, expressing his commitment to rise to the occasion. Smith mentioned that Brown's injury serves as a personal motivator for him, pushing him to enhance his performance.
Earlier this season, Brown was absent for three games due to a hamstring injury. Despite having missed some games, he has managed to achieve 21 catches for 408 yards and three touchdowns so far this season.
Since entering the NFL in 2019, Brown has consistently been among the league's top receivers. Last year with the Eagles, he secured 106 catches for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns.
Brown signed a contract extension in April, securing three more years with the Eagles. This extension included $84 million in guaranteed payment.
