Coach Mike McDaniel of the Miami Dolphins brushed off critical remarks made by former player DeShon Elliott regarding the mental resilience of the team.
Now playing as a safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Elliott labeled most of the Dolphins squad from the previous year as lacking toughness during a podcast interview.
McDaniel highlighted his attention to the current team and their victory against the Rams, which ended a series of losses.
The Dolphins are currently behind the Denver Broncos in the race for the last AFC wild-card position, whereas the Steelers are leading the AFC North ahead of the Ravens.
