The New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox played a thrilling game that ended with a dramatic home run in the bottom of the 10th inning. Gerrit Cole was the starting pitcher for the Yankees, while Chris Sale began the game on the mound for the Red Sox.

In the first inning, the Red Sox took an early advantage by scoring two runs thanks to Rafael Devers' double. The Yankees managed to level the score in the third inning when Aaron Judge hit a two-run home run.

The score remained even until the ninth inning's bottom half. At that point, Trevor Story, the Red Sox's third baseman, delivered a solo home run that put Boston ahead. Yet, the Yankees answered back in the 10th inning's top half with a home run by Gleyber Torres to tie the game once more.

As the game progressed with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning, Xander Bogaerts, the Red Sox shortstop, launched a walk-off home run, securing Boston's 5-4 victory. This game was filled with excitement from start to finish.
