New York Jets News & Updates

After a contract holdout lasting more than six months, Haason Reddick has finally started working with the Jets.

Reddick has signed a revised contract that includes incentives to recover fines he incurred. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, mentioned that they are still working towards securing a long-term extension.

The return of Reddick, coupled with the recent addition of Davante Adams, is anticipated to strengthen the Jets' performance.

Reddick's return marks the end of an unusual journey following his trade from the Eagles. Despite initially being satisfied, he sought another trade and changed his agents.

His physical readiness will dictate when he can make his first appearance. The Jets may use a roster exemption to enable him to participate next week.

Reddick's defensive skills will enhance the team's already impressive sack statistics and help fill the gap left by Jermaine Johnson.

His absence from the offseason and training sessions was due to his wish for a long-term deal. The Jets' initial proposal was turned down, and negotiations stopped after Reddick formally requested a trade.

Throughout his seven-year career with various teams, Reddick has secured 58 sacks, proving himself to be a strong pass rusher over the recent four years.
