Najee Harris regained his stride by rushing for 106 yards and scoring a touchdown, playing a key role in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 32-13 win against the Las Vegas Raiders. Harris, who had been struggling earlier this season, surpassed 100 rushing yards for the first time since the previous year.
Despite passing for only 145 yards, Justin Fields ran for 59 yards and scored two touchdowns. Fields had faced scrutiny regarding his starting position following recent underwhelming performances.
The Steelers' defense, which had previously allowed substantial yardage, bounced back to match its early-season performance by restricting the Raiders to 275 yards. T.J. Watt was instrumental, forcing two fumbles and making two tackles for loss.
Raiders quarterback Aidan O'Connell showed promise at the beginning but faced difficulties as the game progressed. An interception thrown by him led to a Pittsburgh touchdown.
The Raiders were missing important players, including Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers, and Zamir White. Coach Antonio Pierce remained optimistic that Adams was still committed to the team amid swirling trade rumors.
Unlike their nail-biting last-minute victory the previous week, the Steelers capitalized on the Raiders' errors, including fumbles and penalties, to secure a solid win.
