Until 2026, the NFL Scouting Combine will continue to be hosted in Indianapolis. This decision is based on an agreement made public on Thursday.
Beginning in 1987, the Combine has expanded significantly in Indianapolis, now featuring live TV broadcasts and attracting fans to Lucas Oil Stadium for on-field performances.
In the previous year, the event saw over 27,000 fans in attendance. Annually, it draws more than 300 NFL prospects, as well as many NFL team delegations and media representatives.
Officials from various teams support Indianapolis as the venue, emphasizing its proximity to medical facilities needed for player evaluations and the ease of access from the stadium to downtown hotels.
Pete Ward, the Chief Operating Officer of the Indianapolis Colts, remarked that the city is exceptionally suited to host the Combine. Efficient coordination for all participants and staff is notable in Indianapolis, and the Colts are proud to ensure the event remains there.
