Jacksonville Jaguars News & Updates

The Jacksonville Jaguars are facing a challenge as their key running back, Travis Etienne Jr., is out indefinitely with a hamstring injury.

Following the team's defeat to the Chicago Bears in London, Coach Doug Pederson stated that Etienne's condition is being evaluated on a week-to-week basis. The injury occurred during a deep pass route, which restricted his performance to only three carries for negative one yard and a single catch for no gain.

Etienne ranks as the Jaguars' second-highest rusher with 230 yards, averaging 4.1 yards per carry, and has caught 16 passes for 91 yards. In his absence, Tank Bigsby will take on the starting position, with experienced player D'Ernest Johnson providing backup support. Bigsby tops the team's rushing stats with 297 yards and an impressive league-leading average of 7.2 yards per carry.
