Jacksonville Jaguars Place Leading Tackler Foyesade Oluokun on Injured Reserve, Rule Out Savage for Texans Clash

Jacksonville Jaguars News & UpdatesThe Jacksonville Jaguars have moved linebacker Foyesade Oluokun to injured reserve owing to a foot injury. Oluokun, who leads the team in tackles, will be sidelined for at least four weeks. Additionally, the Jaguars have excluded nickelback Darnell Savage Jr. from Sunday's game against the Houston Texans due to a quad injury. This will mark Savage's third game in a row that he will miss. Oluokun sustained his injury during the second half of Monday's loss to Buffalo. He could return for the Jaguars' Week 8 game against the Green Bay Packers. Meanwhile, rookie Jarrian Jones, a third-round draft pick, is managing a shoulder injury but is expected to start at nickel in place of Savage.
