Jacksonville Jaguars News & Updates

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram is set to miss his third straight game due to a hamstring strain. Coach Doug Pederson expects Engram to make his return next week.

Linebacker Foyesade Oluokun, dealing with plantar fasciitis, will also be absent from Sunday's game in Houston.

Five additional players are listed as questionable for the game: Darnell Savage with a quad injury, Gabe Davis with a shoulder issue, Jarrian Jones also with a shoulder problem, and Devin Lloyd with a knee injury.

Engram suffered his injury during pregame warmups in Week 2, causing him to miss games against the Cleveland Browns and the Buffalo Bills. Brenton Strange has taken his place in the lineup, recording five catches for 77 yards and a touchdown.

In the Jaguars' season opener against Miami, Engram made one catch for five yards. Since joining the team in 2022, he had not missed a game until now. Last season, he caught 114 passes for 963 yards and four touchdowns. Over 35 games with the Jaguars, he has accumulated 188 catches for 1,734 yards and eight touchdowns.
