Jacksonville Jaguars News & Updates

In their Monday night game, the Jacksonville Jaguars' defense faced another setback as rookie Jarrian Jones suffered a shoulder injury during the first quarter of their 47-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Prior to this, the Jaguars had already lost starting cornerback Darnell Savage to a quad injury. This left Christian Braswell, recently promoted from the practice squad, to handle the slot corner responsibilities.

Tyson Campbell remains on injured reserve with a hamstring injury, leading Montaric Brown to start in his place on the outside. Jones, a third-round draft pick this spring, hurt his shoulder trying to tackle Buffalo running back James Cook. He stayed down briefly before walking off the field and heading to the locker room.

Additionally, the Jaguars lost linebacker Foyesade Oluokun to a foot injury in the second quarter. After receiving treatment in the medical tent, he was ruled out for the remainder of the game in the fourth quarter. Oluokun, who came into the game as the Jaguars' leading tackler, was replaced by Ventrell Miller.
