Cleveland Browns News & Updates

Jameis Winston will remain as the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns after securing a win against the Baltimore Ravens.

In his first game with the Browns, Winston threw for 334 yards and achieved three touchdowns, establishing a new franchise record for passing yards in a debut. He connected with wide receiver Cedric Tillman for the decisive touchdown with just 59 seconds left on the clock.

Winston had been serving as the backup to Deshaun Watson, who is out for the season due to an Achilles tendon injury. Winston took over the role following Watson's injury and an injury to Dorian Thompson-Robinson's throwing hand.

Linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah has been discharged from the hospital after a neck injury occurred during a collision with Derrick Henry. He has regained movement in all his limbs and will be observed for his participation in the upcoming game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
