Jared Goff's Flawless Performance: Detroit Lions Shatter NFL Record in 42-29 Triumph over Seattle Seahawks

Lions' quarterback Jared Goff achieved a milestone by completing all 18 of his passes, establishing a new NFL record for passing efficiency. Detroit emerged victorious over Seattle with a score of 42-29, marking their first triumph over the Seahawks since 2012.

Coach Dan Campbell expressed his regret for not awarding Goff the game ball, as it had already been given to other players. In addition, Goff caught his first receiving touchdown and remarked that he couldn't recall ever finishing a game with perfect passing accuracy.

Kurt Warner had previously held the record for the most consecutive completions without an incompletion, which stood at 10. The Lions became the first team to achieve a 100% completion percentage while involving multiple players in throwing passes since 1933.

St. Brown praised Goff for his impressive 70-yard touchdown pass to Williams, while Gibbs was surprised by Goff's flawless performance. Despite missing out on the game ball, Goff remained positive as the Lions advanced to a 3-1 record.
